- How do you stay focused during long stretches of repetitive work?

- Which systems have you worked in?
Sample answers
- 'How do you make sure your work is accurate?' — 'I use a two-monitor cross-check — source document on one side, entry screen on the other — and I run a daily variance check on my totals. My last six months averaged 98.7% first-pass accuracy.'
- 'How do you stay focused?' — 'I work in 45-minute blocks with a two-minute stretch. I use the same order and template on every batch so my brain doesn't have to switch context.'
Questions to ask them
- 'What are the daily accuracy and volume targets?'
- 'What software will I be using?'
- 'What does success in the first 90 days look like?'
